Master Gardeners of Northern Virginia is offering several workshops this Spring including the following in Arlington:

Tree and Shrub Pruning Workshop on March 13th Lee Community Center 1-3

Spring Lawn Care Basics on March 16th at Arlington Central Library from 6:30-8:30

Growing Your Own Shitake MushromApril 6, 9 am – Noon, Potomac Overlook Regional Park, Arlington, Pre-registration & Fee required – Growing Your Own Shiitake Mushrooms

These public events and classes open to everyone and are free, unless otherwise noted. Please call 703-228-6414 to register for classes and for further details.

• March 9, 7 – 9 pm, Duncan Library, Alexandria – Spring Lawn Care Basics
• March 12, 10 am – Noon, 2416 Ridge Road Dr., Alexandria – Tree and Shrub Pruning Workshops
• March 13, 1 – 3 pm, Lee Community Center, 5722 Lee Highway, Arlington – Tree and Shrub Pruning Workshops
