It’s a new year and that means it’s time to start working on your tax returns. This website offers you links to download federal and state tax forms, get assistance in preparing your taxes, and information on where and when to file. For low and moderate income residents, Arlington offers free tax preparation clinicsfrom now through April 17th, 2012.
Because April 15th falls on a Sunday and the following day, April 16th, is Emancipation Day which is a holiday for workers in Washington D.C., taxes aren’t due until April 17th this year, according to the Internal Revenue Service.
