Dine out at participating restaurants on April 24th, 2014 and 25-110% of your bill will be donated to Food & Friends which provides specialized meals and nutrition services to children and adults facing HIV/AIDS, cancer and other life-challenging illnesses.  In Arlington, La Cote D’Or, Freddie’s Beach Bar, Busboys & Poets, Delhi Club, Guapo’s and Pete’s New Haven Style Apizza are participating, and there are dozens more in the area.  Visit this site to learn more.

Clarendon Named Best Neighborhood for Millennials

Niche, Inc. released their Top 25 Cities and Neighborhoods for Millennials and ranked Washington DC #3 of the best places for young people to live in the United States, using more than a dozen factors as well as surveys of nearly 500,000 college students and recent grads.   More specifically, they listed Clarendon as the best neighborhood in the DC area with 53% of the population between 25 and 34 years old, a median income of $108,312 and 86% having a Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree, among other factors .  For the complete report and methodology visit the website here.
