#71 – Enjoy Special Events at the Lubber Run Park Amphitheatre

Lubber Run Park in Arlington Forest has frequently been the site of many Arlington Arts Al Fresco Events including free outdoor dance, musical and theatrical performances.  Budget cuts have reduced the number of events in recent years, however.  During the Summer of 2010, the Park Amphitheatre was the site of  a series of movies and TV shows featuring Arlington, called Sunset & Arlington Boulevards. The series included both shows that were filmed in Arlington as well as Arlington actors like Sandra Bullock, Warren Beatty, Shirley MacLaine and Katie Couric.   For future events, check the Arlington Arts site.  Hopefully the Arts Al Fresco performances will be returning soon.
