On Earth Day 2010 Arlington County unveiled an “urban park” at the future site of the Central Place Observation Tower in Rosslyn. Until construction begins, the County will utilize the space as a colorfully-painted public plaza with a stage, benches and tables adjacent to a sustainable rain garden. When completed the 390 foot CentralPlace building with have a top floor observation deck, which will make another nice “thing to do” in Arlington. The site is located oppositve the Rosslyn Metro Station at North Moore Street and Wilson Boulevard.
