Two the Moon is a charming independent gift boutique at 6501 N. 29th St. in Arlington’s Williamsburg Shopping Center, opened in 2014 by Johanna Braden — a former nurse who decided to live out her dream of owning a neighborhood gift shop. (Note: the shop’s correct name is “Two the Moon,” not “Too the Moon.”) The shop carries a carefully curated mix of home décor, housewarming gifts, baby clothing and christening gifts, locally made products, jewelry, candles, greeting cards, and seasonal items. It’s been voted a top gift shop in Arlington and is a go-to stop for locals who want something thoughtful and personal without resorting to big-box shopping.

A particularly popular offering is the shop’s on-site embroidery and vinyl monogramming service — you can bring in your own items or choose from the shop’s selection of towels, totes, hats, hoodies, and more to personalize. Two the Moon has been a neighborhood favorite for over a decade and has received recognition for its baby gift selection.
