Green Pig Bistro is a long-standing Clarendon favorite, originally opened in 2012 by chef Scot Harlan as an American take on classic French bistro cooking. The restaurant recently relocated to 2900 Wilson Blvd, still well within Clarendon’s walkable dining corridor about a 5-minute walk from the Clarendon Metro station. The menu showcases seasonal, locally sourced ingredients prepared head-to-tail in hearty but refined dishes — think rustic French technique with a decidedly American push. The whimsical dining room features a communal chef’s table made from repurposed barn wood and walls lined with pages from culinary books.

Signature dishes include the Bistro Steak with hotel butter and fries, grilled pork chop, shrimp and grits, and house-made cornbread with maple butter. Weekend brunch is a popular draw. Happy hour is available Monday–Friday, and the full bar features craft cocktails and an extensively curated wine list.
