Recently renamed (from Market Common Clarendon), The Crossing Clarendon includes Barnes & Noble, the Apple Store, Loft, Pottery Barn, Soul Cycle, Crate & Barrell, Williams Sonoma and other favorite stores around “The Loop.” It also includes nearby stores and restaurants like Cheesecake Factory, Whole Foods, Orvis, Seamore’s, TTT and Lululemon. The loop is being redeveloped to include more trees, more seating areas and be more pedestrian friendly. It includes a gazebo, a playground and a water feature.

Join Arlington’s Children and Nature Network (CANN) when they “Get Out and Explore. Discover nature through simple activities guided by Arlington Regional Master Naturalists on the first Wednesday of each month from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the Bluemont Park Caboose, on the W&OD Trail near Wilson Blvd. and N. Manchester Street. This free program for adults, families, and children of all ages will focus on time to play, learn, and experience the natural world. Children must be accompanied by an adult. #145- Check out the Lyon Park Spring Fair
The 88th Annual Lyon Park Spring Fair will be held on Saturday, May 19th from 11-3 PM. Take some time out from your errands and stop by to enjoy the festivities! Lyon Park is located at 414 N. Fillmore Street, and is the only privately owned park in Arlington. The fair, to be held rain or shine, will include pony rides, moon bounces, plant and book sales, carnival games with prizes, cake walks, vendor tables, music and more!

The weather is improving. Why not get out for a run/jog/walk? Check out this website for some great running routes in Arlington. Or hit the tracks at Washington-Liberty High School, Wakefield, Yorktown and Thomas Jefferson Middle School. Here is the County information on their outdoor tracks. There are also indoor tracks at Thomas Jefferson Community Center and Lubber Run Community Center.
