UPDATE: The original post was about Twisted Vines which is now closed but there are other wine bars still open in Arlington. Try these Arlington wine bars instead:
#103 – Get your Chocolate Fix at Artisan Confections
Another way to beat the heat? Visit Artisan Confections in Clarendon. Chocolates like to be kept cool so it’s always just a little bit chilly in their shop. Try out their new summer creations like lemon-strawberry and macadamia nut.
#102 – Get Smoothies at Robeks
Stay cool with smoothies, shakes, and freezes from Robeks with locations in the Ballston area and Shirlington.
#101 – Dine at Lyon Hall
Operated by the same people who have Liberty Tavern and Northside Social nearby, Lyon Hall is a French brassserie in Clarendon that opened in 2010. Food choices include charcuterie, cheeses, mussels, sausages, skirt steak frites, and veal sauerbraten. An attractive outdoor dining area makes this a nice spot for a Summer evening.
#100 – Attend the Signature Target Open House
Kick off Signature Theatre’s season at the Signature Target Open House typically held in mid-July from noon to 10 PM. Free performances are held every 15 minutes on four stages both inside and out on the plaza in Shirlington Village. This is a full day filled with free entertainment for the entire family.
#99 – Dine at Inca Social
Inca Social on Wilson Boulevard in the Courthouse Neighborhood offers some of the best Peruvian food in the area.
