The Annual Firefly Festival is held in June or July at Fort C.F. Smith. Bring a picnic and wait for the sun to go down and the fireflies to come out. Check the County’s Parks and Recreation site for this year’s date.
#93 – Visit the Ballston Arts & Crafts Market
The Ballston Arts & Crafts Market is held every Second Saturday from May-October from 10am-4pm in Welburn Square (The Ballston Circle) at Ballston Metro between N. Stuart and N. 9th Streets. They are a juried outdoor market for the exhibition and sale of original handmade art-and-craft items.
