Our Mom Eugenia is a family-owned Greek restaurant founded by Chef Eugenia Markesini Hobson, who was born and raised on the island of Zakynthos and learned the secrets of Greek cuisine from her grandmother. The restaurant first opened in Great Falls in December 2016 and has since grown to three Northern Virginia locations, with the Shirlington location welcoming its first guests in March 2023.

The Shirlington location sits in the heart of Arlington’s walkable village at 4044 Campbell Avenue, with free parking available in the enclosed lot directly behind the restaurant off South Randolph Street. It was named one of the top 40 restaurants in the region by the Washington Post in 2025. The menu is full of authentic Greek favorites — from avgolemono soup and spanakopita to lamb chops, branzino, and moussaka — and the restaurant offers weekday happy hour Monday through Friday from 4 to 6 p.m. It’s a popular pre-theatre dinner spot given its proximity to Signature Theatre.
