#293 – Play Games at the Board Room

The Board Room is Arlington’s favorite destination for board games and craft beer, located at 925 N. Garfield St. in Clarendon — within easy walking distance of the Clarendon Metro station. This game bar and brewery offers an award-winning lineup of in-house crafted beers, a rotating wine list, cocktails, and pub food, all surrounded by a game closet filled to the brim with hundreds of board games from every era. Whether you’re up for Pandemic, Cards Against Humanity, Monopoly, chess, or something more obscure, the staff will help you find it.
The space accommodates up to 256 guests for group dining and 150 for private events, making it a popular choice for corporate outings, birthday parties, and game nights. Weekly Tuesday Trivia Night at 7 p.m. features themed rounds, prizes, and rotating challenges. The sprawling venue also features shuffleboard, darts, big-screen TVs, and indoor and outdoor seating.
