Doorways is Arlington’s only comprehensive provider of safety and support for individuals and families experiencing domestic violence, sexual assault, and homelessness. Their services span emergency shelter, transitional housing, legal advocacy, and community support — essentially serving as a full safety net for some of the most vulnerable members of the community. Volunteering with Doorways can take many forms, from donating household goods for families moving into new housing, to supporting their thrift store, to joining one of their community fundraising events.
