‎#28 – Go see a high school musical

Not the movie – the real thing. Check individual school websites for performance schedules. Last year there was a unique opportunity to see two schools performing the same musical the same weekend when both Washington-Lee and Wakefield had productions of Godspell.

And for 2026, Encore Stage is performing HIgh School Musical, Jr. from January 9th to January 19th.  Visit their website for tickets.

In 2026,  Washington-Liberty High School will be performing Almost Maine on January 29th-31st, Yorktown will be holding a production of Anything Goes on April 5th.and Wakefield plans a Spring production of Shrek. HB Woodlawn, will be holding performances February 12-14 of the musical “The Mystery of Edwin Drood.”  Also check the schedules for Bishop O’Connell.
