The Friends of the Arlington Public Library Book Sale occurs twice a year – once in the Spring and again in the Fall. The Spring 2024 sale begins with a members only event Thursday April 18th and it will be open to the public April 19-21 in the Central Library Parking Garage. Hours Friday and Saturday are from 10 am to 5 pm and Sunday from 11-5 pm when everything is half price. The Friends have held a book sale to benefit the Arlington Public Library since 1976. Today, money earned through the Friends continues to support Library programming and collections, including the One Book – One Community program, Arlington Reads.
