#182 – Watch Rhythmic Gymnastics at Marymount University

The Danish National Performance Team will kick off its 22-city U.S. tour at Marymount on Thursday, Oct. 7, at 7 p.m. in the Lee Center’s Verizon Sports Arena.

Author’s note:  This event has already taken place and is not likely to occur on an annual basis like some of the other events. For other activities at Marymount, please check out their website.

#181 – Come see professional figure skaters at Ice Champions Live

The 6th annual Ice Champions Live will be held Sunday, Oct 24, 2010 at 5:00 PM at the Kettler Iceplex. Ticket prices begin at $30. This year’s show will include performances by Brian Boitano, Ilia Kulik, Michael Weiss, Dan Hollander, Ryan Bradley, Sinead and John Kerr, Christina Gao and Kimmie Meisner among others.

Looking for authentic Italian food at reasonable prices?  Sette Bello in Clarendon has outdoor dining weather permitting, party rooms for private events and TVs at the bar for sporting events. Happy Hour prices from 4-7 with $2.50 draft beer and rail mixed drinks, $3.50 pinot grigio and montepulciano wines.

#177 – Come to The City Dark

Saturday, 25th @ 6:30 – 8:30 pm will be the premiere Screening of a Feature Documentary, “The City Dark, a search for night on a planet that never sleeps”.  The event to benefit “Save the Planetarium” will be held at Founders Hall Auditorium, GMU – Arlington Campus, 3351 Fairfax Drive, Arlington, VA.
