#55 – Come to the Party at the Plaza
Enjoy dancing to live Salsa or Swing music and after-work drinks at “Party at the Plaza” in Rosslyn in front of the Rosslyn Spectrum Theatre every Wednesday in June and July from 5:30 – 8:00. The evening starts with a half hour dance lesson.
NOTE: The Party at the Plaza has not been held in recent years, but check Rosslyn BID’s website for other events at Central Place Plaza.

Jeni’s Ice Cream opened up a scoop shop in Shirlington in 2023. Their ice cream is made completely from scratch “using a recipe honed and perfected over 20 years” by their founder, Jeni Britton. Jeni’s also offers delivery and nationwide shipping.

Rolling To Remember
Memorial Day weekend marks the arrival of hundreds of thousands of motorcyclists to the DC area to participate in Rolling to Remember, (formerly known as Rolling Thunder), a demonstration to pay respect for Veterans who gave their lives for our freedom and accountability for POW-MIAs and to raise awareness for the mental health crisis affecting thousands of Veterans. The motorcyclists meet at the Pentagon in Arlington on Sunday morning before Memorial Day and began their ride to the Lincoln Memorial around noon. Some of the best viewing sites are along the Memorial Bridge and on Constitution Avenue. Visit the Rolling to Remember website for the complete schedule.
