Online Learning Opportunities
Many of us are stuck at home due to the coronavirus. Have some extra time on your hands since you are no longer commuting? Take advantage of this opportunity to learn something new. There are lots of online learning options including computer skills, exercise, photography, crafts, cooking, languages, education for kids with school closures and much more. Here are some of my suggestions.
Can’t go to the gym? Try a 14 day trial to Les Mills classes including spin cycle, Body Pump, Body Flow, Sh’Bam and more.
Lots of inexpensive classes available from Daily Om including tips for healthy living, meditation and relaxation, self improvement.
Khan Academy is responding to the school closures with daily schedules for students ages 4-18 to keep them learning.
Coursera helps you build skills with courses, certificates and degrees online from world-class universities and companies.
LinkedIn (formerly Lynda.com) Available from Arlington County Library free with your library card- Learn business, software, technology and creative skills to meet your personal or professional goals.
Learn a new language at Babbel.
