Shoefly at 2727 Wilson Boulevard in Clarendon gets great reviews from its customers for “hip and funky” shoes. A previous winner from Washington Post Express for best indie shoe store, Shoefly has been nominated for an ABBIE award for Best Boutique.

Spider Kelly’s is a great place to watch football, enjoy Happy Hour or get a late night meal. Nominated for ABBIE awards for both Best Happy Hour and Best Late Night Spot, this Clarendon hot spot has 31 televisions to watch College or NFL football or other sporting events and they have drink specials on weekends from 11-8 as well as from 4-8 weekdays. Spider Kelly’s is open till 2 AM daily and serves their entire menu until last call.
Nominated for an ABBIE award for Best Neighborhood Bar, Thirsty Bernie’s Sports Bar and Grill on Glebe Road near the intersection with Lee Highway has surprisingly good food to go along with its vast beer selection and multiple televisions for watching your favorite sporting event.
