Galaxy Hut on Wilson Boulevard between Clarendon and Courthouse is a tiny laid back indie rock hangout with live music Sunday and Monday nights and a large selection of draft beers.

LA Bar and Grill on Columbia Pike (Lower Arlington) offers something special nearly every night of the week. Mondays are Pub Trivia Night, Tuesday is Dart League Night and their house specialty, “Hog Wings”, are $2 off from 4-8, get half price burgers on Wednesdays, Thursdays are acoustic open mic night, $5 Fridays offer selected appetizers and sides fro just $5 from 4-8 and Saturday is Karaoke Night. #100 – Attend the Signature Target Open House
Kick off Signature Theatre’s season at the Signature Target Open House typically held in mid-July from noon to 10 PM. Free performances are held every 15 minutes on four stages both inside and out on the plaza in Shirlington Village. This is a full day filled with free entertainment for the entire family.

#89 – Come to the Sunset Parade
A Sunset Parade is held at the Marine Corps War Memorial (Iwo Jima) most Tuesdays in the summer. The free one hour performance includes music from “The Commandant’s Own”, the United States Marine Drum and Bugle Corps and precision drill by the Marine Corps Silent Drill Platoon.
