When the August heat and record breaking temperatures hit our area a little Caribbean Breeze sounds nice, doesn’t it? Caribbean Breeze restaurant on Fairfax Drive offers Nuevo Latino Fare, exotic cocktails, beautiful surroundings, the largest dance floor in Arlington, and a covered patio to take it all in.
#88 – Check out Salsa Night at the Clarendon Grill
Monday night is Salsa Night at the Clarendon Grill. $5 admission fee includes salsa lessons. Beginners from 7-8, intermediate from 8-9. Open dance floor at 9. The restaurant also has live entertainment most Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays and a Trivia Night on Wednesdays.

The New District Brewing Company in South Arlington is the first production brewery in Arlington in 100 years. Their tasting room is open daily except Mondays. Check the website for hours.

#76 – Enjoy Live Music at The Renegade
The Renegade in Clarendon is open from 11 am – 2 am Mondays-Saturdays and 11 am – 9 pm Sundays with live music on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. They are open for dine-in, patio service, takeout and delivery and also do catering and private events. Happy Hours occur every day from 4-7PM

#71 – Enjoy Free Concerts al fresco at the Lubber Run Park Amphitheater
Lubber Run Park in Arlington Forest has frequently been the site of many Arlington Arts Al Fresco Events including free outdoor dance, musical and theatrical performances. After a hiatus for a couple of years due to budget cuts the free Summer Concert Series returned to Lubber Run Amphitheater in 2011. Shows usually begin in June and continue on most Friday and Saturday evenings with children’s performances on Sundays through early August.
