Memorial Day weekend marks the arrival of hundreds of thousands of motorcyclists to the DC area to participate in Rolling to Remember, (formerly known as Rolling Thunder), a demonstration to pay respect for Veterans who gave their lives for our freedom and accountability for POW-MIAs and to raise awareness for the mental health crisis affecting thousands of Veterans. The motorcyclists meet at the Pentagon in Arlington on Sunday morning before Memorial Day and began their ride to the Lincoln Memorial around noon. Some of the best viewing sites are along the Memorial Bridge and on Constitution Avenue. Visit the Rolling to Remember website for the complete schedule.
