Check out Lost Dog Cafe in Westover Village or their new location on Columbia Pike for great pizza, “soon to be famous” chili, salads, sandwiches and a huge selection of beers from around the world. The owners also founded “The Lost Dog and Cat Rescue Foundation.”
#120 – Check out Cassatt’s Kiwi Cafe & Gallery
Cassatt’s Kiwi Cafe & Gallery at Lee Heights is a cozy, bistro-style restaurant serving tasty dishes featuring a New Zealand flair. They offer live music Fridays and Saturdays and a Weekend Brunch Menu. In nice weather, enjoy outdoor dining on the sidewalk out front or the rear deck. Cassatt’s also features monthly showings of work by members of the Arlington Artists Alliance and offers art classes downstairs for all ages.
NOTE: Cassatt’s is now closed and is replaced by Cafe Colline, a wonderful upscale French bistro.

Virginia based- Elevation Burger‘s Arlington location is located in Lee Harrison Shopping Center. Choose from grass fed beef or two types of veggie burger. Fries are cooked in heart-healthy olive oil. Ingredients are fresh, sustainable and local when practical.

LA Bar and Grill on Columbia Pike (Lower Arlington) offers something special nearly every night of the week. Mondays are Pub Trivia Night, Tuesday is Dart League Night and their house specialty, “Hog Wings”, are $2 off from 4-8, get half price burgers on Wednesdays, Thursdays are acoustic open mic night, $5 Fridays offer selected appetizers and sides fro just $5 from 4-8 and Saturday is Karaoke Night.
