‎Another way to beat the heat? Visit Artisan Confections in Clarendon. Chocolates like to be kept cool so it’s always just a little bit chilly in their shop. Try out their new summer creations like lemon-strawberry and macadamia nut.

‎Operated by the same people who have Liberty Tavern and Northside Social nearby, Lyon Hall is a French brassserie in Clarendon that opened in 2010.  Food choices include charcuterie, cheeses, mussels, sausages, skirt steak frites, and veal sauerbraten. An attractive outdoor dining area makes this a nice spot for a Summer evening.

When the August heat and record breaking temperatures hit our area a little Caribbean Breeze sounds nice, doesn’t it?  Caribbean Breeze restaurant on Fairfax Drive offers Nuevo Latino Fare, exotic cocktails, beautiful surroundings, the largest dance floor in Arlington, and a covered patio to take it all in.
