Arlington’s La Côte d’Or Café at 6876 Lee Highway in Arlington celebrates Bastille Day with a special menu, sparklers, live music and waiter races. The winner of the race to carry as many glasses of champagne gets a free trip to Paris.
Visit La Cote D’Or at other times of the year for authentic French cuisine. They also host frequent special dinners with musical entertainment and offer a three course Prix Fix menu.

Monday night is Salsa Night at the Clarendon Grill. $5 admission fee includes salsa lessons. Beginners from 7-8, intermediate from 8-9. Open dance floor at 9. The restaurant also has live entertainment most Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays and a Trivia Night on Wednesdays.

Osteria Da Nino is an authentic Italian restaurant in Shirlington open from 4-9 PM Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday and from 4-10 PM Friday and Saturday. Closed Monday. They occasionally offer special wine dinners or complimentary wine tastings and they have a happy hour daily at the bar from 4-6:30.

The New District Brewing Company in South Arlington is the first production brewery in Arlington in 100 years. Their tasting room is open daily except Mondays. Check the website for hours.
