Clarendon Hearth, which opened in October 2010, is American Flatbread’s newest location serving wood fired pizza with regional and seasonal foods from Virginia agriculture. This week’s specials using seasonal local ingredients include Afghan Saffron Chicken Flatbread and Spaghetti Squash and Arugula Flatbread. This Wednesday, November 17th, 2010 from 7-9ish, they are holding a “Yards” Beer dinner with a four course meal paired with yard beers and a welcome pint from “Yards.” $20 deposit holds your seat. Beer tastings are held monthly so check their website for future events.

District Taco is located at 5723 Lee Highway in North Arlington with another location in Rosslyn. Run by the owners of a popular food cart, the restaurant is now open from 7am to 9 pm daily, serves breakfast all day, has $5 kids’ meals, $2.25 tacos, and burritos, quesadillas, salads and nachos burrachos for just $7-8.
