Are you a hockey fan? Hard Times Cafe in Clarendon will be hosting a viewing party Saturday, February 26th, 2011 starting at 6PM for the 7PM game. They will have raffle prizes, free Caps glasses to the first 100 people and specials for the game. Get there early for a good seat.

UPDATE: 07/19/21 – Due to the pandemic indoor drop-in is currently closed but check with the community center to see if it has reopened and for the current schedule.
Tuesdays and Thursdays are adult nights at Thomas Jefferson Community Center from 6:30-10 PM with Drop In Volleyball, Basketball and Pickleball. Not familiar with pickleball? It’s a rapidly growing sport with similarities to badminton, tennis and ping pong. The center also has Cybex, Nautilus and Free weight equipment and an indoor track. Youth are allowed in the game room which has pool tables, foosball, air hockey and table tennis. Fitness membership or daily pass required.

The 2nd Annual Pentagon Row Ice Gala will be held on Saturday, January 29th from 5-7pm featuring live music by Fools & Horses, merchant specials and giveaways, a photo booth, FREE hot chocolate & smoothies, strolling family entertainment including a stilt walker, magician, ice princess, and juggler, with a portion of the ice skating proceeds to benefit the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation Capitol Chapter.

Join Arlingtonians Meeting Emergency Needs for a 3 Month Training Program and get ready to run in the GWParkway Classic Ten Miler and 5K on April 10th. Info session will be January 12th at 7pm at First Presbyterian Church in Arlington. Training Runs will be held on Saturdays at 9 a.m. from January 22- April 2, 2011. Experienced and beginning runners are welcome.
