#266 – Join in the Ladies’ Night Run/Walk (Ladies Only)
Every Thursday evening at 6:30, Potomac River Running holds a women’s only group run & walk in Arlington. This low-key group run/walk begins at the Arlington Potomac River Running Store at 3924 Wilson Blvd. and will cover between 2 and 5 miles and be appropriate for women of all paces and experience levels. Prizes and rewards will be given to participants achieving various targets.
If you are a man and feeling left out, =PR= also holds a Monday night run at 6:30 for all-comers and all paces.
Potomac River Running also offers training programs and a full service store of running apparel, footwear and accessories.
#263 – Go Mall Walking
Eat too much figgy pudding? Too windy and cold for outdoor exercises? Try Mall Walking. You can go on your own, or join in with Virginia Hospital Center’s Walk Fit Mall Walking Program which which meets every Tuesday and Thursday from 8:30-9:30 AM at Ballston Quarter (meet on Level M1) and the Fashion Centre at Pentagon City (meet on the first floor near Nordstrom). #262 – Have a Capitals Viewing Party at The Front Page
Come to The Front Page in the Ballston area of Arlington where they show every away Capitals game (including one tonight, 12/26, against the Hurricanes) on all 13 HD TVs with $2 Bud Lights during the game. Sunday is also Prime Rib night. Check their website for other daily specials.

UPDATE 07/19/21: Tranquil Space was taken over by Yoga Works in 2017 but that has now permanently closed. They do offer online programs which you can check out through their Facebook page.
