The U.S. vs. Belgium World Cup Soccer match will be playing at Central Library.

The big screen near the Welcome Desk on the first floor will be showing the game on Tuesday 7/1 at 4 p.m.  Feel free to bring a drink (non-alcoholic), grab a book to read during breaks and gather to cheer the U.S.A. on.  According to the library website, “cheering is allowed on the first floor. Poor sportsmanship, wagering and references to Smurfs and waffles are not.”

The winner of the game will move on to the round of 16.  If the U.S.A. wins by 10 or more, all Library fines will be waived.
