Come to the Jumbotron at 1100 Wilson Boulevard on Thursday, December 2nd to see TBD-TV Anchor Morris Jones and local officials as they flip a giant light switch at exactly 6:31 p.m. turning on holiday lights along the rooftops of Rosslyn buildings for the 17th annual Light Up Rosslyn ceremony. Complimentary refreshments will be provided and the Potomac Harmony Chorus and Beltway Brass will perform during the ceremony. Activities begin at 5:00 PM.

This link gives you some tips on how to take advantage of this day designed to promote small locally owned businesses. The Facebook Page for this event was reported to be one of the fastest growing sites on the social media site. “Like” the page and American Express will give $1 to Girls Inc. which empowers young women to become entrepreneurs. If you have an American Express card you can register your card and receive $25 back after spending $25 or more at participating small businesses on Saturday, November 27th.
