Jay’s Saloon, nominated for an ABBIE award for “Best Neighborhood Bar” is one of Arlington’s last true dive bars. Every Friday night from 9-12 Pee Wee features classic rock hits from the 1960’s through the 1980’s. If you answer a random trivia question you might get draft beer for a quarter. Every other Saturday night, they have live music from classic rock bands. In addition, they offer half price burgers on Tuesday nights and Happy Hour prices from 4-7 Monday through Friday and during NFL football games. Jay’s is located a few blocks from the Clarendon Metro at 3114 N. 10th Street.

This year Clarendon Day will be combined with Virginia Hospital Center Foundation Family Fun Day. There will be a 10k/5k/Kids Dash, live music, dancing, fitness classes, health screenings over 50 vendors, and food from over many local restaurants.
